Waimanalo Beach Cottages Policies

Aloha! 

Waimanalo Beach Cottages provides a contactless check-in.

Your cottage will be unlocked, and the keys will be on the table. 

Check-in is no earlier than 3:00 PM, and we do not store luggage.

Check-out is at 10:00 AM.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Please review our welcome book HERE before checking in to your cottage.

Each cottage is designed for 2 or 4 guests. Two-bedroom cottages accommodate 4 guests. If you plan to have additional guests, please let us know in advance. Please note that extra bedding and towels will incur an additional fee.

Kindly remember that ONLY registered guests are allowed on the property. 

If you leave before your original check-out date for any reason, you may not invite other guests to stay in your place unless you inform us 24 hours in advance. An additional cleaning fee will also apply if new guests check in. 

If you are checking in after dark, please let us know in advance so we may leave the lights on.

Property Parking is $25 per day, or you may use free street parking. 

On property, we have beach chairs, a few beach umbrellas, and boogie boards for all guests to use.

A coin-operated washer and dryer are available on the property for you to use.

We now offer Worry Free Bookings. If you cancel your reservation 14 days before your arrival or if you forgot, no worries; you still have 30 days after your reservation to receive a full refund.

Without Worry-Free Booking, you may cancel your reservation 60 days before your check-in date for a full refund (see rules for compound reservations). After 60 days, if you cancel due to COVID, a medical emergency, or a flight cancellation, you may receive a credit voucher to reserve at another time, valid for one year and non-transferable. The purchaser requires a doctor's note or proof of a flight cancellation. A cancellation fee will apply, including the credit card fee.

Our cancelation policy is 60 days before check-in for noncompound bookings, and you will receive a full refund. All refunds also include a 6% credit card processing chargeback fee. You may also request a credit voucher to book at another time. All new rates and fees may apply. 

The cancellation policy for High Peak seasons ( November, December, January, June, and July), effective 2/1/2025, is nonrefundable, and we require 60 days' notice to receive a credit voucher, along with a doctor's note or proof of travel cancellation from the airline due to weather conditions. We will offer a credit voucher. For these months, we highly recommend

We require a 50% deposit if you are reserving more than 4 cottages, and the final payment is due 30 days before check-in. 

For fewer than 4 cottages, full payment is due upon booking. 

If you are making a reservation 1 year in advance a 50% deposit is required, and the balance is due 30 days before check-in, 

For compound reservations (all cottages) the cancellation policy is 90 days before your reservation date for a full refund. After 90 days, your reservation is nonrefundable. We recommend Worry Free Insurance. 

We follow CDC COVID rules.

Our staff is COVID-free, and we provide safe, clean, sanitized environments for all our guests.

Kindly remember that ONLY registered guests are allowed on the property.

If you have a group reservation, please email us all guests' names, email addresses, and phone numbers 72 hours before your arrival.

We are a smoke-free and drug free environment.

NO smoking is allowed in our cottages or on the property, and the Use of incense and fire candles. 

A $200 cleaning fee applies for the above. 

Please ask about designated smoking areas. 

Illegal Drugs/Substances/Items 

No guest or patron shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object which is dangerous, illegal or offensive while on our premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof, including, but not limited to, firearms and weapons.

The use of drugs will result in immediate cancellation of your stay with no refund.

Street Parking 

Please do not park in the stalls with cones.

We are not responsible for the following:

Parking Tickets

Towed Vehicles

Damaged or Vandalized Vehicles

Theft of any kind while on or off the property

We do not allow parties or unregistered guests on the property.

We have a 7-night minimum; however, if a shorter stay is available, we can offer less than 7 nights. Please call us to inquiry.

Please respect our cottages and remove all trash and wash your dishes before checking out. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee.

Current State TAT Tax: 14.962%

We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not made in full one week before check-in.

Our general policy for discounts and complimentary services is that if you leave before your check-out date for any reason other than a medical emergency, all discounts and complimentary offers will be voided. Therefore, your invoice will revert to all original booking fees.

Once your reservation is booked, we do not allow changes.
